Reasons Why I Luv DiggThese are reasons why I love :-D Click on the links below to view full-size images on current pages9 Reasons Why I Love Digg vs This Is Why I Love Digg ![]() ![]() Seven-Minutes Epic SongEvery Monday is musicday on Twitter. We post our fav song, a song that we are listening to, or suggest to our friends. Now #musicmonday has already become a good place to discover music, share link, or even find a like-minded ppl on the network. Yesterday I was SO exhausted as I had been up all night (guess I was too excited after United won first match against Birmingham in the EPL that day. lol). My face looked like an old tire and I walked slowly like a zombie. :-\ Finally, I found myself ended up having 4 cups of coffee, listening to Oasis music, and participating in #musicmonday..... undead and needed more coffee to keep my eyes open..... ..... Suddenly when 'Champagne Supernova' started playing, everything turned upside down..... When I was very young, I was SO obsessed w/ the EPL and United are in my blood. One day, some United fan told me that "Hey, kitty, Oasis is going to be on City's stadium*!" "What Oasis?" I asked him. Seriously, I had NO idea who or what the hell Oasis was. :-P But when I turned on the telly that night and saw a large crown on the stadium singing their song 'Wonderwall' unanimously, my doubts were totally gone. So the next morning, I went out and brought their 2nd album '(What's the Story?) Morning Glory' to find an answer myself. I'm not going to tell you about this famous English rock band as I assume that you know them..... or..... you can Google them if you don't know. :-P The story below is just something I wanted to share the moment when they were on top of the world and I was a little girl who fell in love w/ their songs. ;-) Back in 1995, while everybody (included me and my bro) was listening to punk or grunge (you know who), Oasis released this album after their first hugely successful debut album 'Definitely Maybe' against Blur's 'The Great Escape'. If you asked me, Blur is one of the best britpop bands and Damon and Graham are awesome, but I'd go for Oasis, even though bros Noel and Liam are waaayyy too much ego, cuz when it comes to music, it's music you know. They've done a LOT of good stuff and some are real classic. My strongest songs in this album are 'Wonderwall', 'Don't Look Back in Anger', 'Cast No Shadow' (ahhh... great tune), and 'Some Might Say'. But..... the BEST thing here is the seven-minutes epic 'Champagne Supernova'. Starting off slowing..... full of calming guitar..... then expanding into a large psychedelic anthem..... and getting a wee bit long at the end...... I still remember the first time I heard it, I was speechless, I sat there w/ my mouth gaping open and nothing came out. I didn't even know what the song was about, but it brought tears to my eyes (rumor has it, when Noel first played this song for his band mates, guitarist Bonehead erupted into tears as well..... wow). After the song ended, I went out and brought every EP and LP of them and have became their fan ever since. It wasn't 4 cups of coffee that brought me back the energy, it was this epic song of Oasis. After 5 minutes of posting this song as my #musicmonday, my friend @coalporter, TV Journalist, tweeted me "Great track..... I wish I knew what they were talking about." I laughed and replied back, "You know, even Noel himself didn't actually know what the song was about. lol" "But does it matter? "It's just rock 'n roll" - right?" "It doesn't matter to me" I replied "..... as this song hits me for no reason..... It's just beautiful..... isn't it?" * EPL 95/96 Manchester City vs Manchester United, 2-3; Cantona, Cole, Giggs VOTE 4 ME! 7/8/2009 Good News: I won Top 10 Thailand Ms.Twitter! This Summer l Thailand's Stunning VineyardsMan..... it's SO HOT t'day in Thailand! I once told my friend, Stanley, that if he comes to my country in summer, he would be boiled. "Why?" He asked. "Cuz it's terribly hot!" I told him. He laughed and said that I'm funny. But seriously, it's boiling at this moment of the year. You expect it to be hot when you arrive in my country, but you don't think it would be as hot as it is. That's why I told my coworker to go to the North Pole when she asked me where we should go this summer. "Very funny, hahaha." She faked the laugh. "But it would be so terrible if we don't go somewhere or do something in summer. Don't you wanna go to the beach?" "Nope." I said quickly. "The waterfall?" "Nope." "The water festival in Chiangmai?" "No." "Go to the nearest park and have a picnic?" "Are you kidding? Having a picnic in summer in our country? No, I insist." "But I insist harder!" She yelled. (I thought I've gone deaf already.) "Come on, it's summer! S-U-M-M-E-R! There must be something you wanna do." After that, all I could hear all day was "Come on, it's summer! Come on, it's summer!". :-\ But then I realized that she was right. Lazy summer days AGAIN? Who need them? So I decide to make a trip this summer. But because I didn't know where to go or what to do, I started surfing the internet for inspiration. Suddenly...
when I saw a picture of an Italian house is on a grassy hill on the outskirt a
city, surrounded by patchwork hills, grapes cultivating hills, rolling gently
to the sea, and lovely shady trees, it felt like I die and go to heaven!
This is it! I'm going to Italy this summer! But wait a min.....
this could take a while cuz I've just started saving money to go to this
cool, charming country. :-P So I decide to go to the stunning vineyards in my country instead! I'm pretty sure that these 5 vineyards below will transport me (and you) to the romantic Tuscany. So let's check these out! Primo
Posto www.primo-posto.net Village Farm & Winery www.villagefarm.co.th Hua Hin Hills Vineyard www.huahinhillsvineyard.com Granmonte, Asoke Valley www.granmonte.com PB Valley Khao Yai Winery www.khaoyaiwinery.com See!? Tuscany is not only in Italy, but also in Thailand! I don't care what the weather is like. I'm going to see these beautiful places with my own eyes.! Happy summer, everyone! xx The Big 'C'Do you remember the last time you cry? Last month my dad had an emergency operation for an intestinal obstruction. Then he came home and felt better except he has lost weights and it kept hanging me up. But because he's already had an operation so I thought that there's nothing to be worried about. But yesterday, the doctor called my dad told him that he wants to see and talk to him about his removed small intestine. He said that..... they found a malignant polyp and some lymph nodes on that removed intestine. _______________________________ My dad has cancer. CA Colon Stage III _______________________________ I just sat there, alone, in front of the hospital cashier counter, and cried. It felt like my whole world just fell apart. I couldn't hear anything but my inner voice saying that I couldn't believe this. I know about risk factors for colon cancer, like, it is more likely to occur as ppl get older, or ppl over age 50 who have polyps growth on the inner wall of the colon and some can become cancer like my dad's case blah-blah-blah. But I know him. He has NEVER done something that may increase the chance of developing a disease. He's so strong, he eats a lot of fruits and vegetables, he has never smoked, has never drunk, he had screening tests (and that stupid doctor from Pichit Hospital said that my dad had an intestineobstruction not cancer!), and our close relatives have never had a history of cancer before. But while I was crying my eyes out, my dad came to me, sat beside me, and gave me a smile..... Suddenly I realized that..... worry is a total waste of time. It doesn't change anything. Buddhism teaches us that the normal human response to suffering is to try to find a way to escape. It's obviously a good thing to eliminate unnecessary suffering. BUT avoiding pain doesn't help us to solve the problem, the problem is still there. We have to learn to accept it not push it away. So I stopped crying, whipped my tears, and smiled at him. Where hope grows, miracles blossom. No matter what happens..... we can get through this together. :-) NEW YORK POST l Worst Movies of 2008All this month we're looking at the best, and worst, of 2008 in a way that only The Post can. We'll have a new Today's 10 each weekday during December.
10. Beverly Hills Chihuahua : We thought the whole talking dogs fad was over, but apparently, it's not. George Lopez and Drew Barrymore provide voices for this 2008 flop about zany California dogs.
9. Witless Protection : Larry the Cable Guy followed up 2006's "Larry The Cable Guy: Health Inspector" and 2007's "Delta Farce" with this "Witless" effort. Larry's 0-for-3. So bad, we didn't bother reviewing it.
8. Rambo : Did we need another "Rambo"? No, but Sly Stallone gave us one - an ultra-gorefest, even by Stallone standards.
7. You Don't Mess With The Zohan : Adam Sandler makes the list with his tale of an Israeli special forces soldier who dreams of being a hairstylist. Childish humor from a familiar source.
6. Babylon A.D. : Starring master thespian Vin Diesel, "Babylon A.D." went way over budget and there were reports of ego clashes between Diesel and director Mathieu Kassovitz. Released six months after its original release date, the film wasn't even screened for New York critics.
5. 10,000 B.C. : "10,000 B.C" could be called the movie the Museum of Natural History doesn't want you to see. Full of special effects but lacking a shred of authenticity, the film was widely panned.
4. What Happens In Vegas : "What Happens In Vegas" stars Ashton Kutcher and Cameron Diaz as two people who get married after a booze-fueled night in Sin City, and the wacky adventures that transpire after they also win a large sum of money. The easy joke is that this bomb should have stayed in Vegas. We took the easy way out.
3. Mad Money : With a trio of actresses like Diane Keaton, Katie Holmes and Queen Latifah, what could have possibly gone wrong with "Mad Money"? Everything, apparently. But mostly the fact that this comedy had no laughs.
2. The Hottie & The Nottie : Is it worth describing the plot to this Paris Hilton-starred stinker? We won't bother, because you shouldn't bother watching it. According to Box Office Mojo, the film grossed less than $1.6 million as of Nov. 26, which sounds generous.
1. The Love Guru : Our number one worst movie is "The Love Guru," co-written and starring "SNL" alum Mike Myers as Guru Pitka, a man on a quest to become the #1 guru. Films like "Guru" and 2003's "The Cat in the Hat" are destroying all the comedy credibilty Myers built through the "Wayne's World" and "Austin Powers" films. Thank goodness for "Shrek." "Guru" also stars acting legends Jessica Alba and Justin Timberlake. Come on, man, what's wrong with "What Happens In Vegas"?! It's not the best, of course, but it doesn't mean it deserve the worst, right? I LOVE this movie. It was funny as hell especially Diaz and Kutcher. Could you think of a better couple to play this parts? Letter from The PAD in Thailandon
The Ultimatum for the Prime Minister to Resign Immediately and Without Condition
The People’s Alliance for Democracy has been rallying continuously since May 25, 2008 for 2 main objectives; 1. To prevent the rewriting of the 2007 Constitution by the proxy government of ousted premier Thaksin Shinawatra who are trying to amend the charter to whitewash the crimes committed by Thaksin and his cronies and to destroy the country’s judiciary system. The PAD also strives to prevent the proxy government from abolishing the Privy Council, a move which the PAD considers to be a direct violation of His Majesty the King’s authority. The current Thai Parliament is also considered to be under Thaksin’s complete control. It has committed various wrongdoings and violated election laws, yet continues to claim it represents the people of Thailand. But in truth, the proxy Parliament is a sale to any highest bidding politician. The Constitution court’s imminent deliberation of a various party dissolution cases against several of the government coalition partners is proof enough of the fact that Thakin’s proxy government is not a truly ‘constitutional’ government of Thailand. 2. To drive out the killer government that has shamelessly acted as a nominee for fugitive Thaksin Shinawatra. The government is clearly behind the ruthless killings of Thai citizens, manipulated state media, supports the destruction of the Thai judiciary system, exploits the country’s national budget, condones lese majeste actions, lacks any ethical standing and therefore is deemed to be an illegitimate government which is not fit to administer the Kingdom. For the above reasons the People’s Alliance for Democracy has been rallying peacefully and without arms, a right which is sanctioned by the 2007 Constitution Article 63. Article 70 stipulates that a Thai citizen has the responsibilities to protect the 3 pillars of the country; the nation, religion and the King and the nation’s constitutional monarchy. However, during the course of the rally the lives and safety of supporters of the People’s Alliance for Democracy have been in constant jeopardy. The government is also clearly involved in masterminding various violent attacks against the PAD. It has also turned a blind eye when the PAD was attacked with weapons of war on more than 10 occasions. The ruthless attacks have resulted in countless injuries and 4 deaths. Several attacks were also targeted at the ASTV headquarters in an attempt to prevent that station from broadcasting live the PAD rally. The government has yet to take any responsibility for the underhanded sabotage attempts. Three Senate committees, tasked with investigating the violence and bloodshed of the October 7th incident, have found that the PM Somchai Wongsawat and his Cabinet ministers are to be held responsible for the injuries and deaths of the protesters. Their findings coincide with that of the National Human Rights Commission. Premier Somchai must take responsibility for the tragedy by resigning immediately and without any condition. The People’s Alliance for Democracy has called for a final mass rally to stop the traitorous government and proxy Parliament on November 23, 2008 at 2 p.m. The final rally is well into its 50th hour and the supporters of the PAD have been pressuring the traitorous government to step down with peaceful means. Armed with only the plastic hand clappers, the PAD protesters have marched to various key locations including Parliament, Finance ministry, the Metropolitan Police Bureau and the government’s temporary seat at Don Muang Airport. However, to no avail, the proxy government has failed to show any sign of remorse or any intention to step down as demanded by the PAD. In addition, it continues to cling on to power and is determined to amend the charter for the interests of its puppet master and his associates. The People’s Alliance for Democracy is left with no choice but to step up its peaceful rally by blocking off access to the Suvarnabhumi Airport. This is considered to be an ultimatum for Somchai Wongsawat and the Cabinet to resign immediately and without any condition. The people’s alliance apologizes for any inconvenience the closure of the Suvarnabhumi Airport may cause to the public and international visitors to the Kingdom of Thailand. But the PAD believes the measure is crucial to bring an end to the traitorous-killer government. The PAD is calling for the public from all walks of life to join the PAD movement and call for the current administration to resign immediately to protect Thailand from more harm and to restore morals to the Thai society without any further delay. With deepest respect, People’s Alliance for Democracy Tuesday, November 25, 2008 ! ! ! ! ! ! !OMG OMG OMG! I'm in SHOCK! While I was working, there was some guy at work came to my table unexpectedly. "Hi, how are you today?" he asked. "I'm fine." I was tidying up my table thinking why he came up here. "So can I help you or..." "Oh no, I just you know, just... err... wanted to ask your coworker something." "Oh she isn't here at the moment. Please take a seat." I suggested. Then he sat down beside me. "You know what..." He started talking, not looking me in the eyes. "You always dress very, very nice you know?" "W... What do you mean?" I asked, confused. "I mean I like your... style very... much." he explained. "Your dresses are always playful enough to be... sexy... in a sweet feminine way... especially when you wear that bright pink chiffon dress and high heels," he continued. "it's tighter... that leaves a little to the... imagination." he stared at me like he was going to eat me or something. I stopped tidying, thinking this guy cross the line. "Wow you're so... sexy from head to manicure toe! And your hair is s..." "Oh I'm so sexy huh?!" I interrupted. "But I think you're an asshole! How dare are you talking to me like that!? I DON'T EVEN KNOW YOU! I will go pay a visit to HR and I'll tell them about this incident, sexual harassment." Then I kicked him to the curb and said "Now get the f*** out of my section!" ..... Okay I didn't really say that. :-P What I did say was "Excuse me!" My blood started to boil. To make things worse, I couldn't wriggle myself out of there cuz he managed to PIN me IN between him and the wall!!! Fortunately, an adviser committee for executive board arrived. (Thank God!) "Okay so... I have to... go. It was... umm... nice talking to you and err... bye!" the asshole ran away. I couldn't believe what I was hearing and seeing! What the hell was he talking. It was just like pulling my hair on the playground - he just teased me because he liked me? While I was trying to figure out what had just happened, my coworker came to me and asked "What happened? You look like you just saw a ghost? What did that psycho guy do?" "I don't know. He just came to... wait! What did you just say?!" I confused more. "He had a PSYCHOTIC DISORDER?!?!" "Yeah! He was a patient in the Hospital Treatment of Psychotic Disorders for years before he got back to work. Please don't tell me you didn't know that." ! ! ! ! ! Oh my God - - - - - I swear my heart just stopped. PS. Congrats Obama, the 1st African American president in the US history. :) Just Feel It.....How would you explain r o m a n c e ? Romance is something, like, walk on the beach after dinner when the sun goes down and then lay on the beach, watch the stars..... or spend the day at an amusement park, have dinner by the water, walk along the shore at night and have dessert at home..... or have a date by the fire, put on a romantic CD, light some candles, get the fire churning, and make some hot chocolate..... or write someone a song and play it for her/ him..... or take someone out for a real romantic night on the town, wining and dining….. Well, if that’s all there is, I think it’s romantic if someone offers a seat on the subway, heehee. :-P Mmmm..... I’m not sure why this whole romance thing turns my stomach. I don't like romance? - No, I don't. I’ve always felt uncomfortable when someone make a big impression for me. BUT Is there the most romantic date for anti-romance girl like me.....? Yes, there is! ;-D When I was 20, I dated Frank, a handsome bad-boy..... with a mysterious reputation in a university. He's SO not my type but turned out we had a lot of things in common. One night, I went for a ride in the car with him. While we were driving around town, we were singing along to our fav songs, like, Usher's You Don’t Have to Call or Limp Bizkit's Faith. It was so funny. Until midnight, he took me to a nearby lake. It was quiet and..... no one else was even around. We were in the car started talking about upcoming vacations, friends, movies-----anything lets us share ideas. It was such a luxurious treat to indulge in some time that’s all about us. We kept talking, singing, and laughing under the stars..... until sunrise. That was a very beautiful moment. Even though I knew that he’s not the guy for me and I ended up breaking up with him. But that night..... is the most romantic thing someone has ever done for me cuz..... it was..... very simple and lovely. No nice restaurant, no candles, no bouquet of daisies in the center of the table, no any cheesy things I couldn’t stand. Finally, I think..... we all can be romantic And I believe we know how to do romance. But we can’t explain it..... We just feel it..... in our hearts. Happy BDay 2 Me!Happy Birthday to youuu.u..u...u! When we talk about our birthday, I think everybody is looking forward to it with great enthusiasm (or depression haha). And now my BD is just a few days ahead (October 3rd)! Do you have any plans for spending your coming birthday cuz I don't have any. :-( I think it's just an ordinary day, is just something that doesn't matter, or is just a justification to get a piece of cake. LOL (Why the hell is a birthday cake the only food we can blow on and split on and everybody rushes to get a piece?) But instead of spending time leisurely, waking up late in the morning, going to the temple to make merit*, spending the night in watching Discovery Channel on my birthday as usual, I'm going to adapt myself too!, like, taking a shower before midnight, making more soft-cookies, and more saving. I'm a twenty-something girl, I don't want to waste a lot of money on my shoe obsession... t o o m u c h. :-P It's difficult to kick a bad habit overnight (especially when I just brought a pair of shoes 2 days ago haha) But if I don't start today, it may be too late as well. ;-) I'm getting older, I should get a little wiser too! Happy Birthday to me. Hope it brings me everything I'm wishing for. :-) *Making merit is an age-old tradition of Buddhist disciples throughout the world which not only helps prolong Buddhist religion but also helps eliminate human greed and excessive desire and dedicate merit to our dead relatives as well.

"Uh-haaa..." He nodded and asked me "So tell me where your secret address is." First of all, I love coffee and speaking of coffee drinker I am, I won't drink whatever anyone is pouring but I enjoy sampling new coffees as long as they have the flavors I love. But I'm not coffee expert Starbucks is a good way when I want to grab a cuppa coffee (what else we would be there lol). But I'm not the one who just go there for a cuppa coffee and out.
